+1. Any update on the new firmware to go with this driver?
Any word on the AM5 firmware? ZWO stated there would be a release on May 6th. It's been 7 days since then.
Thank you
tempus We have found some issue, after fixed we will release! need do more test by ourself. If you want to use it , I could send the newest fw to you, thank you!
ZWO, I went to your download page. There is an X86 version of an ASCOM driver V6.5.17. Is there a 64 version somewhere or the X86 is meant for all windows installation?
tempus You will find the ASCOM driveres for both x86 and x64 under Others/Plugin or here https://www.zwoastro.com/downloads/others

Thank you!! Why would ZWO put those in "other plugins"?? Others??
I have installed this and it works great except for one thing. Like the previous versions, it insists on being 'always on top' of other windows rather than behave like a normal window. Can this be fixed?
mikenoname
Do you mean the EQMOD window? Uncheck the Always On Top option.

@Zzzz Why no response from ZWO about this?
Still waiting for ZWO to respond to this.

Of course not. If I was having an EQMOD problem I'd be on an EQMOD forum talking about it.
I am talking about the ASIMount ASCOM driver that this thread is discussing.
I have been waiting for ZWO to change this for more than 8 months now... Look at my post from October, 30, 2022: https://bbs.astronomy-imaging-camera.com/d/15160-ascom-driver-minor-inconveniences Point 3 ("Window handling"). It's only some lines of code to make a little checkbox in the corner of the window giving the option to choose the window behavior. Looks like they do not understand some very simple things...
Yep. And it looks like they will continue to ignore this thread. What great support from ZWO!
I will continue to bump this thread until ZWO stops ignoring it.
And still no response.
And still no response from ZWO...
mikenoname We've hadle your requirment and you can cancle 'on the top' function here:

Why is ZWO support ignoring support requests on this forum?
ASIMount@ZWO I see that now. So that's what that little icon was for. It was not indicated in the change log or announcement so no one knew what it was. Question: Why did you choose to not make this setting persistent? Every time you restart ASI Mount you have to set this to 'not on top' again. Please make it a persistent setting. Thank you.

Thank you for your advice. I'll deliver the suggestion to our relevant departments.

Thank you for your attention to this. It is much appreciated.
