Hello,
On the ASIAIR software , after a goto ,on the virtual joypad on the main screen, the tracking indicateur remains red despite the tracking being active on the mount. On the previous version 1.1.2 the problem was the same.

Thank you for adding the feature to save the custom guide rate. I just updated the firmware and will test it tonight.

Also, I was just playing with the 1.3 firmware and ASCOM 6.5.16. When I check the Tracking box, the green light turns on. When I click the red STOP button, the green light is still on. What's the intended behavior for the red Stop button, just to stop a slew/goto, but leave tracking active?

First get the latest ASCOM Driver from here: https://www.zwoastro.com/downloads/windows
Download the main-1m5-130.zip firmware from the link at the top of this page, and unzip it so you can see the .bin file.

Install, ASCOM Driver software (which will uninstall your old version first), and click the "Update Firmware" button. Find the .bin file you extracted earlier and select it. When it's done updating, ASCOM Driver will show firmware version 1.3 instead of your old version. That's it.

You will, anyway, always find bugs and improvements to perform but if there is no blocking issue, you may release an update to fix definitively some of the open points.

The "Save custom guide rate" feature definitely works. The mount remembered it both after firmware update and after a power cycle..

Do you still plan ton implement a reasonable alignment routine (mount model based on initial three star alignment, polynomical optimization by multistar sync) for az users? About when can users estimate this (basic!) functionality to be fully available for AM5? Competitors managed to realize well operating three star alignment routines decades ago for far more economic mounts, and rumors are other manufacturers of harmonic mounts can do as well.

My experience tells me that ZWO now put some semblance of multi-star alignment into their firmware, and they call it "done and dusted" for now. The next improvement could be done in half a year or a year, and it will necessarily be a polynomial optimisation. They derive their main income from guided astrophotography (in polar mode). Their recent investment into the Askar-sourced low-aberration glass confirms that. We need to be more vocal, maybe organise a campaign to attract their attention. Somebody mentioned that they pay more attention at what appears on Facebook.

Has the tracking stop bug (after going to park position) reported in 1.2.4 and 1.2.8 been fixed?

I have tested. The bug still be there. It is so easy to reproduce. Use any program to connect to mount (for example NINA or Cartes du Ciel or PHD2) -> "Home" button -> move mount with screen keypad -> try to check "tracking" and it fails.

For me fix now go to "Park" position and then tracking will start to work.

It was reported many times and it hasn't been FIXED.

I tried to repeat the problem with NINA according to the steps you mentioned, but I failed.
First, I connected the ASI Mountand clicked the Home button.

And then, I hit these two buttons on the screen to move the ASI Mount.

Finally, I select the tracking speed and click the Set button, which shows that the ASI Mount is tracking.

Is it because my operation mode is different from what you said that I failed to reproduce the problem. I need more detailed operation steps (screenshots or videos).Hope to solve your problem as soon as possible.
