Not trying to be a know-it-all, I am new here, just posting in case anyone else needs help. Before you do any of this, READ THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST, as much of it is likely avoidable! ;-)
!!!Make sure this issue applies first, don't just assume if you can't connect to your AVX mount, that this must be the cause!!!
Assuming you've done some validation first and watched a few "how to's" to see if you are doing something crazy, read below.
Thread: "How to connect the new Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro to ASIAIR?"
Thread Link: https://bbs.astronomy-imaging-camera.com/d/12655-how-to-connect-the-new-sky-watcher-eq6-r-pro-to-asiair
OS Download Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MLd0TO7yzPsiqIzVpUVn743DaEnKzox9/view?usp=sharing
OS Download File: "ASIAIR_Pro_0806_OS.zip" (7GB)
Warning: Google Drive can't scan this file for viruses. ASIAIR_Pro_0806_OS.zip (7.0G) is too large for Google to scan for viruses. Would you still like to download this file?
OS Extracted File: "ASIAIR_Pro_0806_OS.img" (29.7GB)
>>> 32GB MicroSD Issue? <<<
Note: There is some discussion about the image file not fitting on the standard 32GB MicroSD and needing to purchase a 64GB card but I had no issues. I use a different SD Card extract/burn application than what ZWO references, I like it because there is NO INSTALL, it's just an EXE that you run so there is zero footprint. It was able to extract the .img file to a 32GB MicroSD just fine.

1.) Burn new OS, insert into ASIAir Pro and turn on.
2.) Start iPad App and should get warned to obtain license for ASIAir App, obtain license will fail (of course, no Internet!).
!!!LEAVE ASIAIR RUNNING and connect to home WiFi!!!
3.) Go back to running ASIAir and follow prompt again to connect and obtain license.
!!!At this point ASIAir App asks for permission to the "Photos" App!!!
4.) Allow ASIAir App permission to "Photos" and continue, it should download picture of QR Code.
!!!LEAVE ASIAIR RUNNING and re-connect to ASIAir Pro WiFi!!!
5.) Follow prompt again to license ASIAir App, it should find the QR Code saved in "Photos" and complete the licensing.
Once ASIAir App started, it warned the Firmware was out of date, allowed it to update the ASIAir Pro Firmware from v8.11 to v8.24.
The next warning was the ASIAir App was out of date!
Closed ASIAir App, reconnected to Home WiFi and updated ASIAir App from v1.6.2 to v1.7.
Once ASIAir App started, it warned the Firmware was out of date (again!), allowed it to update the ASIAir Pro Firmware from v8.24 to v8.48.
Restarted ASIAir App to be sure, life is good...
!!!I imagine all of this could have been avoided by seeing there was a new version of the ASIAir App and simply upgrading, then allowing it to do the Firmware update and be done (not download new 7GB OS, burn image, follow the upgrade FW, upgrade App and then again upgrade FW!!!).
Hope this maybe helps someone,
Jack
