Will I finally was able to downgrade the firmware to my asi120mm , i think because I can’t find a way to confirm what firmware is on the camera even in their Asi program.,( your instructions could be better)
Anyhow I think I figured what the issue is . The asiair-pro cannot handle that many USB ports at once. If I comnect everything in, ie... asi120mm, asi2600mc, ioptron GEM 45, and flash drive into the ports then I get the exposure error.
The app Recognizes all the devices, but there is not enough power to expose the picture during the preview stage for the asi120mm. The only way to get it to work is to unplug everything except the asi120mm and the mount, then I can polor align with my asi120mm. Clearly there is an issue.
This is a bigtime disappointment, I put all my eggs is this basket and have invested into a very bugy system. They need to fix this ASAP. What is going to happen when I install my electronic automatic focuser, or perhaps I decide to get a filterwheel?
There is a problem with their USB hub and they need to fix it. They also need to communicate clearly and communicate known issues and solutions to fix them. They also need not release firmware updates that make things worse. Everything worked perfectly until I updated my asi120mm camera.
i guess their solution is to waste a hour plugging and unplugging usb ports until you get one the works before you can start imagining.
