I'm new to this camera, and I'm having a great deal of difficulty trying to update the camera to the latest firmware version, using Windows 10.
Every time I try to do a driver update, Windows tells me "Windows has already determined that you have the best driver for this device".
That's it. No matter what I do, I keep running into this same problem, even though the driver is clearly not the latest driver (version 1)
Can anyone give me some direction on this?
1. Could it be that Windows 10 does not recognize the true version of the driver for the camera? I'm asking because it says that I have the latest driver update and it gives today's date as the latest.
2. When using SharpCap, if I connect the camera to my laptop, I'm seeing all white on the page when I look around the room I'm in. I'm assuming this is due to the sensitivity. When I put the dust cap on the camera, I'm seeing all black in SharpCap. Seems that the camera is working?
Any feedback you all can provide would be great. Again, sorry for the rudimentary questions, I'm just getting started with this.
I am not sure which driver you want to update.
Are you mean the driver in the device manager?
For your camera, you can try to adjust the settings like exposure time and gain to let it work normally.
Thanks for the post. Been in touch with support and found out what was causing the problems. The camera has the correct driver(s) and is working correctly. White screen is due to the exposure setting.
