7 position EFW is 36mm unmounted filter wheel. I don't understand unmounted filter will stuck by something? the thickness of unmounted filter is really thin. Could you send us some pictures of your EFW?

OK, and you use 1.25" mounted filters of astrodon, right?

I have the ZWO Electronic Filter Wheel 8.
The AstroDon 1.25 inch filters are too thick and hit the casing cover.
Is there any solution?
Can I add very thin washers between the wheel body and cover plate?

Hi
I think you can use the nagetive side of front piece, turn around it and lock up with screws. it will provide 1-2mm extra distance.

I use Astrodon filters in my ZWO 8-position filter wheel (at least for Ha, OIII, and SII) and haven't noticed any problems. However, make certain that the male end of any t-thread adapter or extension tube that you are using does not extend into the filter wheel housing itself.

In any case, it would be useful if someone made thin washers that fit 1.25" filters so that filters that had deep male threads didn't extend past the rear of the filter wheel.

So I thought I would post my experience as I have just received the 8 position filter wheel and a set of LRGB, Ha, OIII and SII Astrodon filters. The narrowband filters are not a problem, nor in my case was the Luminance filter, but the R,G,B filters were catching on the front case. As you say Turing over the front case fixes the issue.

Shown here is the outer case with the side that needs to go on outside in my situation.
