ASICAP - delay setting between taking images
Hi,
Just started to use the ASICAP software for making images from my ASI120MC camera.
I am primairly using the camera for night recording (clouds / meteors / etc.), hence i take pictures all night long.
I've noticed, that when starting the capture, the program makes pictues at a very high rate, up to 3 images / second, which is overkill for my application.
It would be great, to take a picture every ie. 2 seconds, but I haven't found a 'delay' function between taking pictures on the ASICAP program, if that parameter can be added in the next version, that would be awesome.

You can implement this function in ASICAP v1.6.1.
Press the autorun button Refer to the image below to set your capturing parameters. Thank you.

Re: ASICAP - delay setting between taking images
Hi,
When using the 'foto' functionality, all the 'auto' settings (exposure / whitebalance / rgb / etc. / etc. ) are still available / used.
When making pictures using the 'auto-run' option, all that's not available, and the app. falls back to manual settings, which results in poor pictures, due to the changing light conditions over several hours.
If only there was a input field, with a adjustable delay period between pictures.... then I wouldn't generate 2tb of data each day
But, thanks for pointing out a possible option,

Hi ,
I think it's good advice. We will make ASICap better in the future.
