Skysafari with Eqmod

Post by astrosatch » Fri Aug 23, 2019 6:19 am

On Facebook I followed instruction from Roman Hujer who successfully connected SkySafari with Eqmod.

The instructions are on and everything went ok until I installed Iparcos on android. It connects with Asiair and EQmount, but when I tap settings icon it crashes. I downloaded different versions and installed them on Galaxy tab A and lg g2 phone and it crashes every time.
Since I don't have FB account I can't comment on Facebook. Would anyone be kind enough to forward this on Facebook since this forum is not that visited much. Thanks.
Of course I will be gratefull to comment here also.

Hi Sam,

The notes in iOS TestFlight v1.3 Beta (6) says

"now, you can connect the network when connecting ASIAIR wifi."

Does this mean that this Beta of ASIAIR can now join a home WiFi network instead of acting as its own access point?

If so, I did not find a GUI to the function yet. Any hints you can drop on where the user interface to set the home SSID and password?

ASIAIR 1.3 Beta has been very smooth so far (thank you, ASIAIR team).

By fumbling around, I finally found Sun & Planets in a menu in the Object selection window. Nice for the upcoming Mercury transit in November -- we should be able to choose either Sun or Mercury to GOTO :-).
