Version numbers of ASCOM drivers mixed up

Post by bulrichl » Wed Jun 10, 2020 5:38 pm

The versions of the ASI ASCOM camera driver and the EFW ASCOM driver seem to be mixed up on the "Software and Drivers" website.

Hello,

this is very strange. At 20th of May 2020, I updated the ASCOM camera driver to version 1.0.4.1 which at that time was provided on the ZWO website https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/software-drivers .

The corresponding change log reads:
6.0.4.1 2020.5.19
Add Offset
Update camera SDK

6.0.3.28 2019.11.31
Update camera SDK

6.0.3.27 2019.11.20
Update camera SDK
Fix bug that mini camera prompts RAW16 can't guide

6.0.3.20 2018.8.15
Update SDK to V1.13.0523
Fix some bugs

V6.0.2.9 2016.6.23
Modify descriptive name shown in chooser
Modify CanStopExposure, ImageArrayVariant, HeatSinkTemperature
Implement ReadoutMode,ReadoutModes
Add debayer pattern lable in setup dialog
Support get image after stoping exposure
Fix bug of ImageArray, which result in issue at high brightness
Image type and USB traffic will show as saved value

Meanwhile this version of the ASCOM camera driver is no longer provided. Please tell me: what is the reason that v1.0.4.1 of the ASCOM camera driver was withdrawn?
