I have been using the ASI290MM camera with the native driver and SDK without issue. I've been attempting to use the camera with the DirectShow driver now, but can't see the device in other apps such as the Windows Camera app, and the camera doesn't enumerate when querying directshow cameras via that API. I'm still able to access the camera via the sdk, and the camera device is shown correctly in device manager. I've attempted to perform a clean install, but the issue is still present. Does anyone have any tips to move forward?
Yes I am using the latest native and directshow driver. I have also tried the last known working driver versions, native 18.104.22.168 and directshow 22.214.171.124; In either case I can open the camera using the native sdk, but it doesn't enumerate using directshow. This is in both Windows 8 and Windows 10. I haven't tried to install this on a clean built system, yet. The systems I have tested with I have uninstalled the new driver and restarted, installed old driver.
Please advise; and thank you in advance.
I don't think your driver is newest.
