Hi,

The image gain 100, exposure 300 and only the Ha filter was used.

Regards
John

Hi Chad, thank you for the explanation, I understand now. Not a good advert for Panasonic sensors is it. Are Sony better at controlling this "in sensor" problem?

Yes, Usually, in sony's sensor, there is a layer called AR coating inside the sensor. So it works better than panasonic.
Thanks

Hi John,
Yes, I know. You can try to use gain 100, exposure 60 and take 5 images with ha filter, then stack them. It should be better than you use exposure 300.
So you can have a try.
Thanks

I've had the camera 18 months and never seen this issue before and now it appears when imaging the Horsehead 120s 20g 50 offset with ASI1600MM cooled ZWO HA filter. Similar problem with SI and OIII filters. Will try reducing the gain and exposure. I'm sure I have imaged bright stars before and not had a problem.

Bit disappointing to sell a product with this problem without making it known.
