Thanks Sam. That was very helpful.

I came up with this Demosaic Setup:

I shot into a white piece of paper set closely in front of the camera without a lens. It was lit only by window daylight (~5500K) with the overhead lights turned off so there was no mixed lighting.

In Nebulosity, I then adjusted the rgb fractions in the "Manual Demosaic Setup" pop up window so that the debayered image had sampled pixels with close to equal amounts of red, green, and blue. This took repeated debayering of the test image to fine tune the color balance.

Of course, final color balancing would take place in post processing. This gets you in the ball park (I hope) for image capture and hopefully I won't have to do this again, or at least very often, with my 071 MC-Pro. Unfortunately, there are no clear skies in the forecast in the near future test things out.

Critiques of this technique are welcome.

Here is what I came up with:

Just a quick note. I took long distance land based images with my scope after this manual demosaic set up and debayered it in Nebulosity and everything looked good and ready for image processing without a significant color abnormalities. :P
