Re: Android 5.0 compatibility

Re: Unable to get Firecapture or Sharpcap to recognize camer

Firecapture creates a TXT log file. Try running ASI launcher of FC, then close it when it doesn't detect your camera and check/attach the log here. There may be like a DLL not found or something alike.

Re: ZWO ADC with FireCapture - Tuning Problem

Hm... The level ring can be screwed in any position - to mark where is your horizon. The prism levers also can be "screwed in" to make them move more stiffly. That should allow very precise and stable setup. I use an eyepiece before imaging to set it up. Low Saturn and Mars clearly show dispersion a...

Re: ASi178mm vs ASI290mm

For OAG guider I would use a camera with as big pixels as possible - to supply it with as best signal as possible. Guiding is already subpixel so high resolution is not needed (even small external finderguidescope could work) plus seeing on very high resolution per pixel may give false movement for ...

At max it's USB2 speeds as it's Raspberry Pi. Network traffic may limit it.

Re: Getting Started...

White disk is likely result of over-exposure. You have to lower the exposure time and/or gain if it's already short. Then finetune focus and done.

Re: ASIAIR--Astrophotograph has never been easy

Still it's Raspberry without USB3 speeds and will have to hold some large FITS files. Plus mobile app that is a benefit but also a weakness - as it must be good for the product to be good - and software development as well as UX is expensive at the high level (plus UX in some vendor astro apps is qu...

Re: New Sony sensor - IMX428

All of them are expensive or the prices are just temporarily high due to some demand? Kind of odd. Maybe global shutter matters that much.
