Re: ASI533MC Pro camera - debayer settings?

You can use PIPP which allows you to specify Bayer pattern used by the sensor. Had similar problem with Nebulosity which did not debayer correctly frames from one of new color cameras. GRGB in PIPP did the job.

Re: ASI 533MC Pro random red lines

In Nebulosity 4 you could get most of them by using bad pixel maps. * make master dark * create bad pixel map from master dark * apply bad pixel map to the dark * apply bad pixel map, then processed dark to the light frames (RAW) * debayer processed light frames * stack and process as usual. Some ap...

Re: ZWOasi1600mc-c captures stars as doubles

Looks like the frame is moved, like if your mount wasn't tracking accurately and for like short part of the exposure the mount quickly changed position causing double-alike effect on bigger stars.

Re: ASIair USB2 but ASI cameras USB3

For lunar/solar you would be better using a USB3 PC/laptop with large enough solid state storage and dedicated app like FireCapture. AsiAir is best at DS imaging, EAA.

Re: Can a larger SD card be used?

In this case extra partition could created at the "end" and just mounted somewhere via fstab entry. With lucky imaging amount of frames will be bigger.

Re: Can a larger SD card be used?

Hello stargaizers, I'm so sorry about that you can only use 32GB SD card so far. What about partition resizing? It's common for RPi system images to come on a fixed partition size and post-install you can resize it fit the SD card capacity used? 32GB and ~100 ASI178MM FITS files don't match well :)

Older rolling shutter sensors had somewhat problems but modern sensors don't look affected.

Re: How does ADC work with IR Filter?

Depending on aperture the planet would have to be straight up, 90 deg above horizon for your setup to not record dispersion on an L channel. With IR longpass channel it will be vastly smaller but still it will be there unless the object is extremely high over horizon.
