Hi Kristina,
The EAF seems to be working just fine! It appears that the numbers in the setup don't need to match the numbers on the draw tube.

Re: EAF Max Step Incorrect
Thank you for the reply Katherine; however, please ask your manager why it started at the default of 60,000 (?) and stayed that way for several uses. Then one night it changed to 17181. Honestly, if it works properly that's all I care about, but I am curious why this happened.

Re: EAF Max Step Incorrect
Hi Katherine, I had run the Firmware update after posting my issue. It briefly worked as it did out of the box, but then went back to this same "issue." Re: EAF Standard Bolts Too Short for Explore Scientific APO EDT Series Rack & Pinion Focuser
I ended up using M4 x 25 and two washers: an original washer from the focuser and one washer from the EAF kit. Everything is working great now!

EAF Standard Bolts Too Short for Explore Scientific APO EDT Series Rack & Pinion Focuser
I purchased an EAF Standard yesterday at my local camera/telescope store! I was so excited to get it installed; however, the M4 bolts on my focuser are recessed and all of the bolts that come with the EAF are the same length as what's already in the focuser. I went to a hardware store and purchased ...
