Live stacking

I tried live stacking with the ASI AIR pro few days ago. I first took the darks and bias shots during the day. Before I started imaging I took the flats. I then went in the program and selected all the options for darks flats and biases and selected the proper master frames from earlier. I then star...

Re: ASI2600 no exposures over 2 second

Ok I posted this too soon. Problem solved. Appearantly my computer's usb does not output enough current. I connected the camera to a 12v powersource and that solved the problem. I'll just leave this post just in case somebody else runs into this problem.

Thanks,

Peter.

ASI2600 no exposures over 2 second

Hi all, I just took delivery of a ASI2600 mc pro. I installed all the software and drivers and everything worked fine. It connects easily to my computer and is recognized by all software that I have. However if I take a test shot over 2 seconds, it will do so until about 0,2 seconds before the end a...

Support for astromechanics lens adapter

I ordered a Astromechanics lens adapter for my canon lenses. This adapter has an electronic connection with the lens through software, which allows it to control aperture and autofocus. Awesome, but it would be even more awesome if the asiair would be able to control it. Now I need a computer. As I ...

Re: ASIAIR erratic telescope control

Hi Chen, I did try this tonight, indoors and everything seemed to work as it should now. Only thing I did different from before, is that I did not align the mount with the handcontroller this time but straight from SkySafari through ASIAIR. That seemed to do the trick for some reason. Also a GoTo di...

Re: ASIAIR erratic telescope control

Hi Chen, Thanks again for thinking with me about this. you can indeed set a delay or ask for early meridian flips, but it is all set to 0. Later today I will again try different things to see if I can figure this out. I am pretty sure that it is something that I do. I realized that the mount is fine...

Re: ASIAIR erratic telescope control

Hi Chen,

Not the case I am afraid. 52 degrees north! I'll try it with just ASI Air, but I do not know if that works.

cheers,

Peter
