Re: Soft camera / EFW bag

Hi, I think John meant "I know there isn't one but can you please add this to your list of future products since it would make my life easier when traveling with the camera and filter wheel." As a matter of fact, I would like one too since I, too, often travel with my astro gear. Many thanks in adva...

Re: Does the ASI 294MC Pro need USB3

Max, The download speed affects amp glow which is why ZWO introduced USB3 ports on their cameras in the first place. However, you *should* be able to create corresponding darks to correct for that higher amp glow. Just make sure that you use the same port (USB2 or 3) for both and you should be fine....

Re: Stars Distorted if I use the 1.25 filter (8 position wheel)

Hi, Could you add an example image that shows the problem? Is this issue present in all the raw images or only in the stacked ones? I assume it is present in all raw images but I'd like to be sure. Does your telescope have a flattener or reducer? If yes, are you sure you have the proper back focus b...

Re: Best mono planetary camera for C8

A better tool on the same page is this one https://astronomy.tools/calculators/ccd_suitability It will allow you to add all details of your telescope and camera and even allow you to add the barlow. Then you can play with different seeing settings to see how suitable the camera is for the telescope ...

Re: Cant se nebula in picture??

This is normal. The nebula is so faint that with a simple stretch on a single sub it still doesn't become visible. This is exactly why we take many subs and stack them. Don't worry about it and keep on imaging. This is perfectly normal behavior.

Re: ZWO 1600MM Pro - Problems with downloading images

Jeff,

I have seen reports of problems downloading images when using USB3 ports on older computers. Perhaps that's where your problems originate from?

Re: ASI120MM Not Streaming on Windows 10?

If this is the ASI120MM (USB2 version) then you may experience problems since it is not fully compatible with the USB2 specifications. You can try to flash the firmware and see if that solves the issue. If it is the ASI120MM-S (USB3 version) then it should work as is.
