ASI294MC Pro Banding

Hi, I am having problems with my ASI294 and what looks like banding. I enclose 2 jpeg versions of master darks from DSS that show the problem. They are both reduced in file size and converted to jpeg for ease of handling. Masterdark60secs was taken in UK at ambient temp of around 7 degrees cooled to...

Re: Power supply in the field

Hi,
I will also be using my ASI294MC_Pro in the field and will try to power it with a 9v battery. My question is, as the battery dies, the power will drop below 9v, will this harm the cooler, or will it just stop working?

You say reduced, so I assume it will still be better to use a USB3 connection.
I am considering getting a Rockpro64 that does have USB3 to run indi/ekos

Does anyone else have experience of running the 294MC under ekos?

Does the ASI 294MC Pro need USB3

Hi Does the ASI 294MC Pro need USB3? I am thinking of getting one but my current set up uses indi/Ekos on a Raspberry Pi which only has USB2. I currently have an asi 178mc which gives heavy ampglow due to low data transfer rates to the pi. Does the memory buffer solve this? Will it still work better...
