Re: Choose colour or black and white

Hi - just to clarify - I'm using a 183C and still saving the preview file which is FIT - is Black/ White ? should this be - I don't see any manuals explaining or options to change the file format or enabling the colour which appears on the tablet to save into the FIT. The FIT file will appear B/W, ...

Re: Strange artifacts around bright star Alnitak.

Hi Chad, thank you for the explanation, I understand now. Not a good advert for Panasonic sensors is it. Are Sony better at controlling this "in sensor" problem? Yes, Usually, in sony's sensor, there is a layer called AR coating inside the sensor. So it works better than panasonic. Thanks Chad Note...

Re: Strange artifacts around bright star Alnitak.

If it is the 1600MM Pro then the ZWO website says it has an AR protect window. If AR is the problem should that not prevent it?

Protect window ASI178Mc

In the specifications for this camera it says the Protect Window is IRCut as opposed to the others I have seen which say AR.
1) Is this correct
2) Does this mean I do not need a separate IRCut filter?
3) What would be the effect if I added a separate IRCut filter?

Thank you in anticipation

Re: ASIAIR User Feedback

Love Asiair more each time I use it, great to control everything from the warmth of my lounge when it is below freezing outside. Two little problems that I have experienced which is stopping me giving it top marks. Both seem to happen when you move to a different option and then return. 1) The green...

Re: red light

If Win32DiskImager restore does not work, I think this is what you need to do. Don't shoot me if this doesn't work. Firstly you need to backup your licence "zwoair_license", from the BOOT partition on your original card. Just copy and paste to a folder on your hard drive and keep safe Then download ...
