Re: ASIAIR User Feedback

I like the idea behind ASIAIR but the execution needs work. The user interface is clunky and not easy to use. My laptop running SharpCap does a FAR better job.

Why only certain gain and exposure levels?

Why do you only allow selection of certain gain and exposure levels?

Quite often, the optimum levels are in between.

Feature Request: Polar Alignment

I know that ASIAIR utilizes PHD2 for autoguiding. It would be extremely helpful if it also utilized the PHD2 polar alignment feature. I still need to bring my laptop for polar alignment but it would be really nice if ASIAIR could take care of this too so I can go truly laptop free.

Re: Can a larger SD card be used?

The card is where the OS is stored. For this to work, each card would need a copy of the OS installed on it.

Re: Moon 250618

If I want to take large images, I will put my imaging camera in my guide scope. I can get the entire Veil Nebula or Andromeda Galaxy in frame with room to spare.

The easiest way is with a focal reducer.

Re: Blue Mars

If Mars turned out blue I'm guessing you have the red and blue channels backwards in your debayer matrix. Whatever you used, try reversing it and see what happens.
