Thanks for the reply: so for the moment it seems I am stuck with using just Sharpcap.

Hi there, is it possible to power the Camera cooler through the USB ports available on Celestron Nexstar Evolution mounts, of course using the right cable/adapter (USB to 12v) ?

Thanks for the feedback, anyway I’m not sure I understand if it’s definitively supported or not. On Asiair product page the description says that just equatorial mounts are supported. On Asiair FAQ page, while answering to one of the first questions, it says that the Celestron Nexstar Evolution 9.25...

Asiair for alt-az mounts

Hey there,
I have a Celestron Nexstar Evolution 9.25, so an alt-az mount.

I am interested into Asiair, but on product description I’ve read about support just for equatorial mounts.

Are alt-az mounts supported directly and/or through Sky Safari ?
