Re: 8 Position EFW won't fit 31mm Chroma Filters

The response I received from ZWO is:

"The ZWO EFW is compatible with ZWO filters, if you use other filters you may need to do some adjustment by yourself."

So basically no support at all -

8 Position EFW won't fit 31mm Chroma Filters

I started to load my 31mm Chroma LRGB and NB filters into the ZWO 8 position 1.25"/31mm EFW. Thre are two issues: 1) The filter openings in the carousel are too big, i.e. the filters are 31mm diameter but the openings are 33mm so the filters "swim" around in the openings 2) The filter openings are n...

Re: EAF Backlash

The payload is an ASI1600 and EFW -- total weight under 5kg. The coupling is screwed down tightly on both the EAF and the focus knob. That is not the issue. When NOT under load, the spindle has about ¼” free play. That free play translates into about a 240 step backlash – that is excessive. Please c...

Re: EAF Backlash

Sam or Sean -- is this large amount of backlash considered to be an issue that should be covered by the warranty? The folks at OPT where I purchased the EAF are willing to replace the EAF if ZWO considers this amount of backlash to be a defect covered b the warranty -please respond -- Thank you!

Re: ASI071 Protect window:AR window ???

The ASI1600MC Pro also says "Protect window:AR window" -- is this a new feature on the 1600 Pro series or has the 1600MC always had an anti-reflective window? -- Thanks!

ASI071 Protect window:AR window ???

The description of the ASI071 Pro has a line that says:

Protect window:AR window

Does that mean that the protective cover to the sensor chamber is made of anti reflective glass?

Thanks!
