dithering bug

If I turn dithering option on, I get "wait settings" text after image is complete and downloaded, but no other image is taken, nor the dithering is solved. There's just this "wait settings" on bottom left and nothing other happens. When I turn dithering off, image sequence is restored. What am I doi...

Re: ASIAIR not connecting to skywatcher sycscan

Same problem here. in 1.7 sefotware version, there was no problem, in 1.8 it connect just sometimes (but mostly doesn't). There's no problem with connecting and moving mount in SkySafari, but I can't connect EQ6 in Air (there are no movement arrows).

possible bug: gain settings changed during imaging

Hello. I set camera gain to M (= gain 139) and started imaging, then disconnected my mobile phone and closed the Air android app. After some time, I connected again to download pictures and then resume imaging, but gain was somehow changed to 100. This happened multiple times when I closed the app a...

Re: USB hub of ASI1600 causes "blue screen of death"

we used to provide every camera one driver and now there is only 1 driver for all the cameras that's why you need to uninstall the old one but you only need to install the new one once That wasn't working for me. With all-in-one driver, ASI120 hasn't been recognized in Windows (checked on two lapto...

Re: USB hub of ASI1600 causes "blue screen of death"

I just wanted to point out that ZWO should try to patch drivers, so custommers can use imaging and guiding cam both from ZWO ;) When I was installing ASI1600 software, I had to uninstall ASI120 driver first to be able to install newer ASI ASCOM and then install ASI120 soft again to make camera work ...

Re: USB hub of ASI1600 causes "blue screen of death"

I sold ASI120 and bought guiding camera from QHY. And... miracle! All works great on both computers. I can run camera from USB hub without crashing windows, no "busy" problem when downloading images from both cameras at once and I even don't have to reduce USB traffic. based on this experience, I'm ...

Re: asi1600 Pro and amp glow

Of course there's a chance that problems with USB 2.0 (and so USB-related amp glow) are more related to my laptop or compatibility between laptop/USB drivers/ASI drivers. I dont want to be negative as I really appreciate all the work and attitude with a good and affordable equipment "made by ZWO" an...

Re: Halo / reflexions around bright stars ASI 1600 MMC

So it is known as a filter problem? Would be replacing the filters with e.g. Baader filters solve the issue? I can't say "its a known problem", I'm just saying that in my experience and experience of my friends using same filters, ZWO narrowband filters makes this kind of reflection. For me particu...

Re: SII filter reflections

There is no such problem with Ha or LGRB filters. And there is no such problem with other same priced filters from different company (which also causes reflection, but for stars 1,5mag brighter, not for 7,5mag!). Can it be just possible I had a bad luck about this particular pieces?
