Technically, the warranty should stand as the product is not considered as being a “second hand product” as stated in the zwo warranty terms item #10. The product does not meet the criteria of being second hand as it has never been activated and registered by anyone since being delivered by zwo. To be classified as being second hand an item has to have been registered or activated on the zwo database. If you are buying from a vendor that has filed for chapter 11, they are still considered to be an authorized zwo seller even in insolvency. From a legal standpoint you would be theoretically fine, but from a personal standpoint there is no way to know if the products they are offering are genuinely good or just the insolvent sellers return items from returned defective mounts… until you purchase them. Tough call, and it is even a tough call maybe for zwo as they would need to find out the details ( new vs damaged vs returns) of the insolvent vendors existing stock which is almost impossible to do under the circumstances. I would personally just pass on it.
