Have a Mele Quieter II mini PC to run everything at the mount. Made this 3d printed mount to attach to the side of the AM5 using the 4mm screw holes on the side. Platform can easily hold the ASIAIR as well. I used Velcro to secure the PC since it gets shared with another scope and needs to be easily removed.
First Light with new mount last night and could not be happier. Used default settings in PHD2 and imaged M53 using 10 minute subs for 2.5 hours. Guiding was just under 0.6 for the whole session. That was with a very sketchy initial attempt at a polar alignment using Sharpcap. Need to get more familiar with the adjustment knobs. Lefty loosy and all that.
