Hi there friends!
I'm running my AA+ conected to an Star Adventurer GTI.
After a rough polar alignment with a compass and a clinometer app, i turn on the equipment and make a GoTo to a bright star, for checking both Plate Solve and Focus.
When i start the All Sky PA routine, the first steps work like a breeze, the AA+ plate solves the images in 3 or 4 seconds... no troubles at all.
I start to adjust de Az bolts, and i get 5 or 3 arc seconds in azimut... great!
But when i start to adjust the Alt bolt, to lower the Total Error... the software keeps telling me to "down" the altitude knob until i get in the end of the adjustment... i start with 55', 36', 25' until there is no more room to unscrew the Alt knob(0° on the mount left side markers!). It does not make any sense!!
My rig is leveled, well balanced and of course adjusted to my correct latitude degree!!
Starting the adjustment from 56', i should move the Alt knob only a few turns to get the Polar Alignment done!!
Any idea about whats happening?
Thanks very much for your help!
