OK, but doesn't that present the same issue? To connect with the AM5 I cannot download firmware from online, and to be connected online means I can't access the mount. Could you please elaborate a little?

Update:
I followed the online instructions, opened my AM5 app, connected to the hand controller WI-FI, went to settings and also connected to my home wi-fi and got to the firmware update page in the management section of the AM5 app. It gave me the firmware versions installed on the mount and hand controller but says, next to Latest Version: Get Data Failed. It says this for both the mount and hand controller. That isn't working...
