Hi guys, I have got rid of all my DSLR cameras, and now have the Canon R3 and R5. I have the ASI Air PRO. In fact I have two. one stays with the set up at home, and one for taking along for trips. I just checked the Camera compatibility chart for Canon, and it states R. So does that mean that all R series canon cameras would be compatible, or only the very first one that came in the market which was R. Now the one I want to use is R5, So, has anyone used R5 with ASI Air PRO, and any issues. However, I do plan to power up today once the USB A to USB C 2 meter cable arrives, so hoping all goes well, and would also put up an update.
rameshtahlan Нi, where can I see the updated list of supported mirrorless cameras, thanks
In my experience each of the “R” mirrorless cameras needs to be lifted individually,
I bought a RP model and it did not work until they added it to the list, even tho the “R” was already listed.
aruckle Hi, where can I see the list of supported ASIAIR cameras, thanks.

Many thanks for that information. Hope they add it soon. but looks like it wont happen before my departure to the mountains on 7 Dec.
Just powered up everything with R5, and all is good, ASI recognised the R5 immediately.
However, my iPad which is almost 15 years old, kept crashing each time I wanted to save an image. so then used the Samsung Tab A8, which is latest, and it works perfect. Cheers. all is good.

PMTeam@ZWO Can you get the R6 Mark II added? It came out last month as the replacement to the R6.

Having some problem with my set up. This is what I have hooked up. iOptron SkyGuider Pro. ASIAir PRO Samsung A8 Tablet Canon R5 The system when it detects Canon R5 as the Main Camera, gives a warning for certain setting on the camera, one which also says Only RAW to be selected. the RAW files on R5 are 45Mb. Selected Auto in the ASIAir PRO with 30 sec exp, and total 5 frames just to check out everything. NOW this is the problem Once a image of 30 sec has been captured and it starts loading etc etc, these are the warnings I get.
Now my question is this, that though the reconnect with wifi takes place on its own each and every time with each and every image loading, is there a problem ? When I view the image in the ASI itself on my tablet, all 5 images are there. Do I need to be worried about anything.
rameshtahlan No prob. All the images are saved to the storage.
By the way, forgot to mention. in the ASI in Auto, though the exposure is 30 sec, the INTERVAL is 1 Sec between images. Do I need to increase this interval from 1 sec to some other figure if yes, what would be good interval.
