I come back to you with some issues when using ASIairPro with the new Skyhunter mount.
Last week I followed the protocol to update the driver of my ASIairPro using this pdf:
https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/manuals/How_to_make_your_new_Celestron_mount_connect_to_the_ASIAIR_Pro.pdf
This solved this issue of connection of the ASIairPro to the mount.
Now 3 news issues appeared:
-1) The GoTo center function doesn't work. I Polar Align using PA, then slew to Polaris, it takes an exposure, plate solve, but fails to center after 4 trials. Polaris is in the FOV but not in the center. When I annotated the picture it found Polaris.
-2) The guiding doesn't work. As many other on CloudyNights forum here (v3 INDI), the ASIairPro is unable to send the correct guiding command to Skyhunter mount, resulting in the error message:
"RA Calibration Failed: star did not move enough"
-3) The tracking is not linear. When taking 60 exposure for 6min, it appears clear that the mount is not tracking all the time. I see elongated stars on some frames, and the FOV is clearly moving.
Updating the ASIairPro with the ASIair+ drivers did not solve all the issues. Do you think it can be solved by a firmware update from ZWO ?
Thanks for your help,
Best,
Tanguy
