Foxi how can you get in there to the cartridges
I do not have the older ASI071 (the one they called "cooled" instead of "pro"), but the version where the camera chamber is removed with three screws below the tilt plate. So all the following is pure conjecture.
Your most recent picture offers a clue. Notice that there are 6 tapped holes on the black part of the camera after you removed the tilt plate.
However the tilt plate is only attached by 3 screws.
Moreover, on the pictures I have seen of the back (where the fan and connectors are) of the older 071 shows that the back is attached by 3 screws.
My newer 071 has 4 screws holding the back.
So, I wonder if ZWO had used a very long screw to go from the back all the way to attach to the black plate at the window end of the camera. I.e., it could be using the 3 other tapped holes that are not used to hold the tilt plate.
If so, this could be a nightmare to re-assemble! Perhaps that is why you do not find a single manuscript from ZWO about opening that camera chamber.
If you are really curious, you can loosen the three screws at the back by no more than 1/4 turn. Then check to see if the black plate in front is now loose.
Again, let me repeat that I think this could a nightmare to reassemble.
Plus, the problem in even losening the three screws slightly is that you could disturb the tilt of the sensor. Withought detailed diagrams, we simply don't know.
Personally, I would contact the dealer I bought the camera from, and pay them to replace the desiccant tablets.
Or, call it a total loss and take this opportunity to treat yourself to a monochrome APS-C camera from a different manufacturer. Just chalk it up to a lesson learned. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
