Probably poor design of the mount proxy in ASIAIR that either (1) confuses the client (ASIAIR commands vs SkySafari commands), or (2) too low priority given to the mount control process in the Raspberry Pi. Or both.
If you insists on using SkySafari, you can mitigate (but not fully get rid of) the problem by telling SkySafari to poll less often -- the default in SkySafari is 4 polls per second.
The problem has been diagnosed in this forum for several months now; you probably missed those discussions.
But, do yourself a favor and ditch SkySafari. Most of us use SkySafari only for planning the night, and never connect SkySafari to a mount.
