Hello,
my problem is:
when my ASI2600MC Pro cooling system obtains an activity of 100% it turns off immediately while the fan still continues to operate, cooling power displays 100% and temperature rises. It is attached to asiair pro with latest updates via USB3 and 12V supply. Cooling below 35 ℃ ambient temperature will be achieved, therefore I assume the cooling system itself is accurate.
As several users of the ASI2600MC Pro complaining about the same issue I suspect a common problem.
At troubleshooting I connected the camera to a separate 12V Power adapter and voila, the
flaw vanished. It appears that when pluged into the ASI Air, the ASI2600MC Pro cooling power switches off at 97-99%. ASIAir itself was provided with 12V/6A Power.
@ZWO my proposal for a solution:
ASIAIR pro:
- add settings option to limit cooling power of ASI2600MC Pro to 95%
- add settings option to turn off internal WIFI during runtime (at boot time WIFI should always be turned on)
> external Router in bridge mode via RJ45 jack can be used instead
I'm looking forward to a solution, because loss of cooling will spoil an entire astro session.
Maybe someone has already an idea.
Many thanks for any response.
