I have been playing with the EAF and setting a zero point. Unfortunately the instructions do not tell you how to do this, but I saw the little "edit" icon next to the current position and figured that would do it. I have a Explore Scientific ED127 refractor that has a focuser that extends out 90mm. When I set the initial zero point at 5mm (to protect against it trying to go too far in) and ran the focuser out to about 87mm (to save it from going too far out), I ended up with an EAF value of about 37700. So I set the max step at that value. Is this correct? At some point I had a problem at the zero point of it not moving back out and had to set "reverse" on. I would like to shut that off, but have been unable to figure out how to do that. I set that option off, shut down the ASIAIR Pro, powered it back up but it still would not let me go in the direction I would like. I am using the hand paddle at this point to actually move the focuser but I might want to use the ASIAIR Focus commands to do adjustments and especially GoTo a focus position. I would like the lower button on the hand paddle to move the focuser out and the top button to move in. Any suggestions as to how I can get the reverse to shut off?
