Dear friends,
A newbie question from the one who just paves his way into very amateur astrophotography.
I am building a rig like this:
Computer: ASIAIR Pro
Mount: Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi in EQ mode
Main camera: Canon R5+RF lenses
Guide camera: ASI 120MM Mini+120 mm guide scope
Please help me understand: if I want to do a polar alignment with guide camera, using ASIAIR Pro plate-solving Polar Align feature, does the guide camera have to be set so that its optical axis is aligned with the EQ axis of the mount?
Thank you.
