Just have a question about setting up a side by side telescopes, currently I’m using an ASIair to control my rig and I do my polar alignment with it, I have a RC 6” and a William Optics Z61 which I use it as a guide scope in piggy back, the small issue is that I want to photograph with both telescopes to different targets sometimes and I disassemble everything just to use the WO telescope, just wondering if having a side by side set up will allow me to just change the camera from telescope to telescope without taking it all apart, my doubt is regarding to the polar alignment with the ASIair, as it uses plate solving I asume that the camera should be in the same axis as the mount, if I’m using a side by side set up the camera will be on an offset from the center, I was wondering if that’s an issue in terms of polar alignment with ASIair.
Thanks for reading!.
