I had successfully used the 2021 GEM45G with the ASIair Pro for the past two month (connecting the mount to the ASI294MC usb hub, selecting the CEM120 as mount). It was a bit finicky keeping the connection but I could do a plate solve and then sync the mount after which the Goto of the ASIair Pro would work without issue. Lately however the Goto doesn't work anymore. I am using the latest firmware, which now allows me to connect the GEM45 directly, without having to select the CEM120 mount as previously. I can still plate solve and sync the mount, so it does know it's position in the night sky. However, when trying to use the Goto functionality the mount moves in completely the wrong direction, sometimes turning the scope towards the ground, and it has twice crashed my scope against the tripod. Even if I am close to the target and want to use the Goto for a fine adjustment, it would steer completely away from the target, wanting to move the scope around in the complete opposite direction. I have not changed my workflow at all, so I do not know why this problem is happening now. I tried selecting the CEM120 mount again as previously, could again connect and sync my mount but the Goto problem also occurs here.
Additionally, even without using the Goto functionality, when doing an autorun the ASIair Pro is off when the meridian flip should happen. It would want to track an object way past the meridian, luckily the mount the stops tracking.
In short, there seems to be something off how the mount communicates with the ASIair Pro. Any help here would be really appreciated.
