Jay6879 Where would we find the beta download? Hopefully the final release doesn't take too long!
For iOS, follow the instructions here, and then click on the ASIAIR icon toward the top of the page after you have installed Apple's TestFlight app.

You can then set up TestFlight to notify you when new beta releases come out.
For Android, go here to download the APK.

Remember, please make sure you have the current (or original) microSD card backed up. When you run the beta app (in either iOS or Android), the beta will overwrite the microSD card. To revert to the old non-beta app, you will need to use the older microSD firmware. This will make sure you don't have to start looking for how to download the firmware from the web.
Beta builds often come out in rapid succession (a couple of days per). Unless there are some outstanding bugs, I have seen them get released as official versions after between a week and a month.
1.6.1 is a minor release, so should be released sooner than average. And ZWO might also be in more of a pressure to release it because those who bought the ASI120 are dead in the water for now. I doubt you need to wait more than a week (if iOS instead of Android, add an extra day for Apple to approve it and/or for ZWO to make changes to meet Apple's security rules).
