I tried out the new feature of the auto exp flats and it worked great on one setup I have but not on the other. BOth setups are almost identical except for the camera model. One setup has a NIkon D610 and the other has a Nikon D7100. the Nikon D610 worked first time but the D7100 never had the shutter go off. the software was running through the program, as the pop up box came up with it saying it was going through the different exp but camera never clicks off the shutter. Not sure if it is camera-related or something else. The camera(D7100) works just fine as it took Lights, Darks. etc and does take images when setting manual exp under the Flats.
astlastro Plz try to upload the runtime log after the AutoFlat failed.
interesting that the failed logs look totally different to the worked logs. seems that the worked logs doesn't show that they were flats, just exposures, I'm wondering if I forgot to change to do Flats or if they were still on Lights.
astlastro Hi Sir, plz use the Feedback which is under the About page to upload the runtime log, the Autorun Log can not dig out the reasons.
Did you try to re-boot the ASI? I've had some quirky issues lately and found I had to reboot the unit and then it worked fine. Annoying, but it is a computer after all.
