What size filter wheel and filters for ASI2600MC Pro

I am planning to by APS-C ASI2600MC

What size filter wheel is required? 36mm or 31mm?

Can 36mm filter wheel take 31mm filters. Will there be vignetting with 31mm filters?

The ASI2600MC does not require a filter wheel. But you could attach 2″ EFW to 2600MC Pro if you would like to. And the size of 31mm filters and 36mm filters is small for this camera.

The 6200 requires 2" filters. Since other APS-C models work with 36mm filters, I think ASI2600mm should too. Anyways, I need to get a M42 size filter (mounted) with threads to attach to this camera if I plan to do duo narrowband kind of imaging?

Sorry we don't have M42 size filter, you could attach M42 filter drawer with ASI2600 MC.

If you plan to do duo narrowband kind of imaging, maybe this Duo-Band Filter will suit for you.

I'm considering buying the ASI2600MM Pro. I have the same question as the original poster: What is the appropriate filter wheel and filter size for this APS-C camera? I currently have an 8 position 1.25" ZWO EFW. Can I replace the wheel inside that EFW with the 7 position 36mm wheel to use with the 2600MM?

Another mono camera I'm considering is the ASI294MM Pro. What is the proper filter size for that camera?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the 2600MM vs the 294MM?
