On MacOS X,
1) select the Finder application (just click on main window)
2) in the Go menu in the Finder Menu Bar, select "Connect To Server" menu item (or use Command-K keyboard shortcut in the Finder)
3) enter the Samba server address as usual
If you are in AP mode , the Samba server address is smb://10.0.0.1
If you are using Station mode or Direct Ethernet mode, the Samba server address is smb://xxx.xxx.x.xxx
where the x is the IP address of your ASIAIR on your router ;
you can get the IP address from the ASIAIR Settings window, or from your home router.
4) click Connect button
5) in the password window, select the "Connect As: Guest" button, and click connect.
6) You should see two volumes 1) Images and 2) Udisk Images.
The first volume ("Images") is the one on the microSD card. The Udisk Images volume is the USB disk (USB stick or SSD drive).
Select the one you want and click on the Connect button.
You should now see a Finder window with the folders that are in the selected volume. In the Udisk Images volume, I see two folders, "ASIAIR" and "System Volume Information." Your images are in the "ASIAIR" folder.
The Images or Udisk Images volume should also show up as a mounted volume icon on your desktop. When you are done using the volume, remember to eject that volume before powering down the ASIAIR.
If you are on Windows or Linux, check Google on how to access Samba servers.
Clear skies,
Chen
