I just bought one OAG too. And it also has this excessive wobble.
The oval hole is way to big.
After tightening the thumbscrews the rear end of my Lodestar can move >1cm to and fro in the direction of the telescope.
It cannot be the intention that the user has to perform bench work to correct this issue.
Sam admits that this is not good.
What do I do to correct this?
Return it to the dealer under warranty.
Just look at:

Greetings Sam,

Has this been fixed in the OAGs now? That is, if I were to order one today, would it arrive with the extra screws and no wobble when fully assembled?

Hi everybody.
I wanted to give it to myself for Christmas too. Is that wobble corrected yet?

How do I know if I have the OAG with this new, improved design? I received mine a couple of weeks ago and I have flexure in mine. I have made sure to tighten the thumb screw and there is still too much movement.
