Dithering speed?

Post by imbusion » Mon Sep 14, 2020 12:46 pm

I'm using the ASIAir Pro and my guiding is getting better(still not as smooth as I'd like), but now that I've started dithering, it takes a good 30-45s to settle between each shot. Is that normal? If so, any advice as to how I can improve this? I can share a few screenshots of what I'm talking about and I have more of my settings if that helps.

Set the values to 1 - 4'' - 3s will make the Dither settle faster.

Which values are you referring to?... "Settle time" And if I reduce that from 5s to 3s that will solve this issue?

Okay, from up to down:
Pixels 1
Stability 2'' (shorter)
Settle Time 3s or 1s.

Thanks so much!... I'll be trying that as soon as the wildfire smoke clears from our night skies. Your help is appreciated :)
