Sam,
Is there any possibility of an Upgrade Path for the "Original" 1600MM-C/MC-C (or even uncool 1600's)??
Or of a Trade-Up Plan??

I'd think that quite a number of us 1600MM-C/MC-C Owners would PAY for such an Option.

Clear Skies,
s3igell

For all of the Pro Cameras:

Does the Image contained in the DDR Buffer download while the next Image is being Exposed to the Sensor?? Or does Exposure have to wait until the DDR Buffer is Offloaded??

Is there the opportunity to Capture multiple consecutive images to the 256MB DDR Buffer before emptying it via USB Cable?? For the 1600MM-C, there is room in the DDR Buffer for at least 7 Images.
One could see a use for 7 consecutive Exposures then Downloaded whilst the AutoGuider performs a Dither, saving substantial time for additional Exposures. (1:7 dither ratio would be just fine for the high exposure count common for such a CMOS AP Camera).

sorry, we didnot provide such upgrade service as the difference is very small

about DDR buffer
actually, you won't notice the DDR's exist
and you cannot control it

the download time is so fast and you don't need to bother save time

Any chance the 1600 will get replaced with one of the newer sensors from Sony. Like the IMX270 or 272. They have same format as the 1600 and little better performance.
