ASI120MC Bricked while Upgrading Firmware to ASI120MC-compatible.iic

Post by sjgonline » Fri Apr 19, 2019 2:44 am

Hi ZWO Support,

I ran the FWUpgrde tool on Windows10 to upgrade the Firmware of my ASI 120MC. I used the file "ASI120MC-compatible.iic", then the FWupdate tool gave an error message when "Downloading Firmware". The camera is not recognized anymore on any PC, but when I plug it in Windows makes a sound.

Looks like it's soft bricked. The USB Device Viewer reports it as an Atik USB 2.0 HR Chemi Camera (A). I also use an Atik camera on my laptop.

I saw this:

viewtopic.php?t=6854

It's exactly my case. See below the result from Microsoft's USB Device Viewer debug tool

Can you help me please?

How can I re-flash the ASI120MC?

many thanks

Sergio
