Would it be possible for add a EFWGetSerialNumber() function to the EFW SDK, similar to ASIGetSerialNumber() in the ASI SDK?

I'm currently working on a Python wrapper for the ZWO filterwheel library as part of the PANOPTES Observatory Control System (https://github.com/panoptes/POCS), and have noticed that there doesn't seem to be a way to access any form of unchanging unique identifier for connected filterwheels in the EFW API. Is this correct, or am I missing something?

Sorry, for the current, it is impossible to add the SN for EFW.
But we know your needs and consider how to do it later.
