Bode's galaxy with ASI178MM

Postby NDB » Tue Feb 16, 2016 2:05 pm

2nd deep-sky test with the ASI178MM (still uncooled).
5-s exposures; the galaxy is poorly contrasted.
One dark for all images with SharpCap. No guiding, no bias, no cooling... no stress :)
Sorry for framing.
Suburban sky, just above the chimney (some frames were blurred and enlighted by the reflection of street lamps). Anyway the camera is fantastic, even in this very average conditions!

No kidding. very impressive. I've neglected my 178 recently, need to get it back out.
