2600 vs 1600 comparison

Post by skydveiphil » Sat May 02, 2020 1:00 pm

Im really liking the specs on the 2600 camera. Thinking of selling my 1600 to purchase it. I have a celestron 8 inch set with hyper stay. Really would like to see a comparison image , same set up but one with 1600 camera and one with 2600 camera. Any one have a contact at zwo that can do this? or have both cameras? Be really interesting to see if there is a noticeable difference. I think there will be but this is a lot of money so would love to see before I buy. Thanks

The images taken by ASI2600 and ASI1600 are all excellent. And the differences between ASI2600 and ASI1600 is just the parameters. Such as ASI2600MC Pro uses Sony’s latest back-illuminated IMX571 APS-C format native 16-bit ADC sensor while the ASI1600 uses 4/3" format native 12-bit ADC, and so on. You could see more details in our website.
