Re: EAF, unable to detect

I bought it in July from OPT in the US. I had reached out to them to see what is the next step. The EAF can not be detected by several computers I connected to. Only a red LED comes on when connected to power. There is no beep and it does not show up anywhere. It does not respond to hand controller ...

Re: EAF, unable to detect

Hi, Katherine: Thanks for your reply. I believe that EAF is dead. Everything else being the same, I swapped in another EAF I have and it worked as expected. The EAF that had stopped working can not be detected by computer and does not respond to hand controller. How do I contact ZWO in US to have it...

Re: EAF, unable to detect

BTW, the EAF in question won't respond to hand controller either. I have another EAF that is working and it can be controlled by the same hand controller. I'm going to swap the EAFs. I only have this EAF for less than a month. I think it is still under warranty, However the reliability of such unit ...

Re: EAF, unable to detect

I had tried ASICAP, ASCOM Diagnostics and the SkyX, none of them can "detect" EAF. Since ASCOM can not see i...

Re: How to secure ZWO EAF bracket for Takahashi Scope

I was able to find a tool to unscrew the secure bolt (snake eye? pig noes?) on the FS-60CB focuser. However, the bracket from Tak adapter kit is too short (its edge blocks the screw hole) and the bracket from the original EAF kit is too long (it touches the knob that was not removed on the other end...

Re: How to secure ZWO EAF bracket for Takahashi Scope

Thanks Katherine! The focuser of my FS-60CB has the newer blueish color. Please see attached photos. I might be able to remove the "button" in the middle but the bracket seems a bit short. (still wait for tools as the screw is tiny. Might be those used in camera lens.) IMG_2842-s.jpg IMG_2840-S.jpg ...

How to secure ZWO EAF bracket for Takahashi Scope

HI, Could you please show me how to secure ZWO EAF bracket for Takahashi Scope? I got the bracket for Takahashi and tried to secure it to FS-60CB focuser. Not sure what are those long bolts for...There also seem no place to bolt the L bracket to the focuser. The manual illustration was not very help...
