Re: ASI294 MC PRO cooling noise?

That's a dew/moisture problem. My 294 behaves the same way. You can avoid it, if you set the target temperature a few degrees higher (about 20 degrees below environment temperature). That's not perfect, of course, but better than loosing frames … As soon as the nights here in Germany are too short a...

Re: Problem ASI 294MC PRO

Hi,

I already tried this and for a while it worked.
Unfortunately the phenomenon ist getting worse over time.
Waiting over 3 hours didn't help. :-(
As soon as the sensor temperature is lower than about
15 degrees below the environment temperature the
problem occurs.

Re: Problem ASI 294MC PRO

After a few nights of testing I'm almost sure
that the problem is caused by humidity.
As I didn't remove the Camera from the telescope
I can‘t say if its on the inside or outside of
the front glass or on the sensor.

What can I do?

Re: ASI294 pro

Increasing the gain means loosing dynamic range.
If your frames look good: Don‘t change anything. ;-)

Re: Problem ASI 294MC PRO

Hi, since last week I have a similar (or the same?) problem. The ASI294 ist always mounted to the RASA 11", everything is dry and unchanged for months. I attach an (extremely stretched) screenshot. In the center the problem is obvious, but some areas on the left and the right are also affected. Markus

Re: Some features …

Hi, thank you for the new feature "Save Custom Object". I already used it several times. Some suggestions: - It would be great if it was possible to edit the object entries. Perhaps after swiping to the right (similar to the "Delete" function) - If there are lots of list items it could be hard to fi...

Dew Heater Power Control with ASIair Pro

Hi, I've heard that it will be possible to connect dew heaters to the ASIair Pro and adjust the power. Will it be possible to adjust the power automatically to reach a predefined DeltaT if there is a temperature sensor present (maybe the sensor of the EAF)? Oc course additional sensors for the heate...
