Going back to guide camera specs page

I wanted to change the gain on my ASI290 camera after starting guiding. I couldn't find a way to go back to the camera settings page. I can change the primary camera settings but not the guide camera. Is there a way?

ASIair Pro screen Gamma function for guiding and focus

I live in a red zone and when combined with a full moon, I have problems with guide star contrast in guiding and background for star used in focusing. Being able to control the contrast is very important. PHD2 has a gamma function. I tend to have more clear nights when the moon is out. I am using na...

Re: ASIAIR User Feedback

In PHD2 I can change the gamma of the screen display to bring stars into better relief for guiding. It is very helpful. ASIair Pro doesn't seem to have that function and my ASI290mm mini shows bloated stars with the ZWO mini guide scope. I'd also like to be able to darken the screen when using the ...

Re: ASI290mini not a good guide camera
Hi Don, the ASI290 works well with ASIAIR PRO on guiding. Please read this doc: https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/manuals/ASIAIR_PRO_User_Manual.pdf.
I finally got it going and it seems to be doing a good job. There is one odd thing though. I use the ZWO mini guide scope and hav...

Re: Auto guiding problem ASIair Pro

I cannot get the AG system to work properly. It starts but the DEC and RA correction commands show progressively greater adjustments until they are really big. It's as if my iOptron CEM25P is not reacting to them. I understand that ASIair Pro uses INDI. I cannot find any info about what the Guide P...

Re: ASI290mini not a good guide camera

Perhaps it's a settings problem but I can't get it to do a good job with my ASI Air Pro. I successfully used an Altair IMX174 camera with PHD2 on Win10 setup. It isn't supported for obvious reasons. However I can't get the ASI290mini to work under Win10 or now under ASIair Pro. Any suggestions for ...

Polar Alignment Malfunction?

When doing a PA, I adjusted the Alt-Az of my CEM25P mount until I got a smiley face. However, the spiked circle, which I assume is an indicator of the direction and amount off alignment, was way out of the 2' circle, not just the center circle. Perhaps my mount suddenly changed in Alt-Az, but both a...
